Delta Design joins

Shortly after announcing our new ownership structure, plans were put in place to begin a programme of acquisitions for ECCO Group to cement its position as the leader in the global vehicle warning market.

In Europe we began the process of acquiring Delta Design, a UK based company famous throughout Europe for innovation in xenon and LED products.

Over the years Delta Design had become the European leader in xenon products
and this programme was seen as truly complementary to the Vision Alert offering. ECCO Group announced the successful acquisition of Delta Design on 10th February 2008.

Chris Marshall, MD of Vision Alert commented, “The aim is to strengthen the Delta brand within the ECCO group family whilst taking advantage of the synergies presented by the two companies.” To that end, Delta Design will move from its current site north west of London, into the Vision Alert Leeds facility during the remainder of 2008.

This is a huge undertaking, but it will be conducted with the over-riding need to prevent any disruption to either Delta Design’s or Vision Alert’s customers.

New LED Beacons Available Now

However, unlike xenon versions, the LED versions have 2 modes: flashing and constantly lit. This makes them suitable for an even wider range of applications. The high performance MX-LED is a larger industrial beacon available in red and amber. Its all-new design allows for maximum light output and provides a distinctive, eye catching flash whilst still providing a competitively priced LED solution.

The LT2-LED is ideal for any system or machinery requiring a visual status warning device. It provides a cost-effective alternative to current tower beacons. Under normal operating conditions the beacon will emits a constant green light, but when there is a process fault, or any other condition requiring attention, an input to the beacon will automatically switch functions, emitting an eye-catching intense ‘6 burst-flash’ red light flash pattern. At a compact 95mm high and with a diameter of 77mm, the LT2-LED can be fitted easily to most machines. A new mounting pole accessory, the FX39, is also available.

All 4 new products are available in 110/230Vac mains or 10-100Vdc multi-voltage versions, offering comprehensive compatibility, and incorporate the latest LED technology. As with all our LED products, the new beacons are supplied with a 3 year guarantee.

We are pleased to announce that our new range of LED industrial beacons is now available to order. We are launching not one, but four new LED signal products for the industrial market.

These new products are LP-LED and LT-LED, which are LED versions of our popular Xenon LP and LT products; MX-LED, a larger beacon with an intense flash and LT2-LED, an innovative new dual function product.

The LED versions of our popular compact LP and LT beacons give the added advantage of an unmissable 6 burst-flash pattern (a feature of all the new LED beacons). As with the xenon versions, the beacons' compact size makes them ideal for a wide range of applications.
